description: "In the future, I'll be speaking less and less. I thought about it over the weekend at home, of course, while I was gaming. And I didn't think for too long, it's not a great epiphany, but I realized the ship's bow needs to be turned a bit. I realized that investing might "not make much money." Don't rush to argue with me, what I mean is that pure stock investment, wanting to directly change one's life is a bit unrealistic. I've actually already tilted most of my time and balance in life towards stock investment. But, this doesn't seem quite right, of course. Those with ample capital and genius traders can completely skip this message, but I'm just an ordinary person. I have a job, not many channels to get information. If I simply use a long-term mindset for short-term operations, it looks like it will be bad. Therefore, your trading level reflects your insight and future vision, constantly fighting in stocks and K-line charts, forgetting life, forgetting yourself, with only wins and losses in your eyes. I'm quite glad I have a job, which can at least make my day somewhat regular, but, not very regular either! I wake up in the middle of the night and check, did I lose or make money today, if it fell should I average down, if it rose should I sell?! It's exhausting! Especially in the recent volatile market, naturally no need to say more, the brokerages make more than I do. I often make a mistake: I buy a stock, and I have my view on its value, but when it falls, I start thinking if I was wrong, bought at the peak, and want to cut losses, but when it rises, I feel I misjudged again, did I just happen to hit a pullback. In short, I will continue trading, but I definitely won't use leverage anymore. I want to reduce trading frequency, learn to adopt a 'lie flat' mindset and become a long-term value future investor. Also, the so-called turning the ship's bow means reducing frequent trading, becoming a long-term value investor, reducing screen-watching time, reducing noise, returning to life, developing side hustles ( after all, if it really takes off, this is more valuable and stable than stock income ) work hard, my life can't be all stock investment. Thanks, I've learned a lot of knowledge in this community over the past year, and also tempered my mindset, after all, it's better to know how to fish than just eat fish.$Micron Tech(MU.US)$SK Hynix(SKHY.US)$Sandisk(SNDK.US)$Invesco QQQ Trust(QQQ.US) If it rises too much and too consistently, the money made is the money others lost. - **一发入魂 · 2026-07-13T19:48:39.000Z**: I get it now, the article tells me I need to go all in🤪
- **S丨plendid** (2026-07-13T22:27:54.000Z): I didn't close my position, I just turned a short-term trade into a long-term hold, reduced the frequency of trading, and embraced life
- **一发入魂** (2026-07-14T05:53:54.000Z): I'm not treating you as a contra-indicator🤪, what I mean is, I've learned your all-in and lie flat🤪
- **S丨plendid** (2026-07-14T05:54:42.000Z): Good good good
- **ricky.sun · 2026-07-13T17:43:49.000Z**: If you're not a professional stock trader, choosing VOO and QQQ is unbeatable. Just set up a regular investment plan and let time work its magic for compound interest.
- **S丨plendid** (2026-07-13T18:18:25.000Z): I feel like I'll only choose it when my capital base is larger and I'm older. At this stage, I can't convince myself. By the way, how about the momentum S&P 500 ETF?
- **三思又三思 · 2026-07-13T16:26:59.000Z**: Congratulations, bro, you've finally seen the light!
- **S丨plendid** (2026-07-13T16:32:01.000Z): Just a minor realization, I've realized it too many times, always forgetting the pain after the gain
- **S丨plendid** (2026-07-13T16:32:16.000Z): One positive day changes your entire perspective.
- **三思又三思** (2026-07-13T16:33:17.000Z): Hahahaha, that's not to that extent. I've discovered discipline is very important. It's like if Hercules is going to rebound tomorrow, how many of those who said they'd leave today will actually leave
- **彩子 · 2026-07-13T16:24:55.000Z**: To put it bluntly, just save up some money, buy in, and leave it there; don't move it around constantly. In this kind of market, moving in and out will only get you harvested. Of course, when the market is good, you'll definitely make more money.
- **S丨plendid** (2026-07-13T16:31:32.000Z): Sometimes if you don't buy at the low point, you'll worry about being at a high point.
- **被包养的理查德** (2026-07-13T16:32:41.000Z): Bro, given the current situation, should we just lie flat and uninstall the app? 🥹
- **彩子** (2026-07-13T16:34:19.000Z): If you haven't used leverage and it's not in cryptoIt's perfectly fine to hold other regular stocks with long-term calls. I also feel like uninstalling it. It's too much of a mood killer.
- **Luka Wu · 2026-07-13T16:22:27.000Z · 👍 1**: What's up, are you completely done with trading from now on? It's not right to have the scales tipped so heavily towards stocks. You should lie flat more, sleep more, then play more games, go out for walks on weekends, and spend more time with the kids, then you'll feel like it's all okay.
- **S丨plendid** (2026-07-13T16:34:20.000Z): I will definitely trade, but I don't want to spend every day thinking about checking the market, good news or bad news, and what to do. It's tiring. Moreover, I've always wanted to work on products. I
