description: "$QQQ 260722 708 Call(QQQ260722C708000.US)$Invesco QQQ Trust(QQQ.US)Felt like the whole market was dominated by refining robots standing firm. Just found an opportunity and took another trade. Didn't really feel like trading today. From now on, I should assess the market conditions first before deciding my position size. This is obviously market manipulation; there's barely any volatility 💁All in all, I made a total of 7 trades today. First batch of Calls: Bought in batches at 1.51 / 1.27 / 1.18 / 0.91, sold 4 contracts at 0.58, losing $255. This was the biggest issue today: averaging down on a losing position, only cutting losses after dropping to -52%. Second batch of Puts: Bought 2 contracts at 1.20, sold at 1.25, gained $10. Small scalp. Third batch of Puts: Bought 1 contract at 1.11, sold at 1.16, gained $5. Small scalp. Fourth batch of Puts: Bought 3 contracts at 3.43, sold in batches at 3.60 / 3.51 / 3.38, gained $20. Direction was correct, but gave back quite a bit later. Fifth batch of Puts: Bought 3 contracts at 3.26, sold at 3.67, gained $123. This was the best trade of the day; entry and exit were both effective. Sixth batch of Calls: Bought 3 contracts at 2.87, sold at 2.65, lost $66. Loss control was okay, but position size still exceeded limits. Seventh batch of Calls: Bought 3 contracts at 3.47, sold in batches at 3.63 / 3.64 / 3.69, gained $55. Execution was better than previous ones; exited in batches after profit, didn't hold on too long. Daily Total: Profit +213, Loss -321, Net Loss ~$108. Scoring: Entry: 4.5/10. The Put section and the last Call had some structure, but the first Call batch was clearly rushed, followed by averaging down on losses. Holding: 4/10. Winning trades were mostly quick in-and-outs, which is good to keep; but holding the first Call batch until -52% resulted in severe point deductions. Exit: 5/10. Later trades showed ability to exit in batches and stop loss, indicating execution discipline; but the first exit was too late. Position Discipline: 2/10. At your current 150k RMB tier, normal trades are 1 contract, A+ max 2 contracts. Today you traded 3 and 4 contracts multiple times, violating the limits just written into your skill set. Overall: 4/10.Key takeaway for today: It's not that you don't know how to pick direction; the problem is poor handling of losing positions and exceeding position limits. If you hadn't averaged down on the first Call batch or held it until -52%, today would likely have been a normal day with a small profit or small loss. The most important lesson to remember: winning trades can be fast, but losing trades must be faster."

- **脱非入欧 · 2026-07-22T00:09:13.000Z · 👍 1**: I used to play like this too, feeling completely led by the nose by institutional main forces. Now I just follow the trend and buy in one direction; once bought, I hold tight—either it doubles or goes to zero. Otherwise, it feels like working for the securities firm, and trading is just exhausting.
