# Received net capital inflows for 4 consecutive trading days; Game ETF Huaxia (159869) accumulated 'fund absorption' of 649 million yuan

On July 22, the gaming sector opened lower and showed volatile performance in the morning session. The largest gaming ETF by index size, Huaxia (159869), is currently down over 1.5%. As of press time, intraday trading volume has approached 250 million yuan. As of July 21, the Huaxia Gaming ETF (159869) has seen net capital inflows for four consecutive trading days, with cumulative "fund absorption" reaching 649 million yuan. It remains favored by investors, with a total scale of 9.329 billion yuan.

On July 21, data platform QuestMobile released its H1 2026 Mobile Game Industry Report. As of May 2026, the monthly active user base for mobile game apps reached 672 million, a year-on-year increase of 4.0%. Monthly active users for WeChat Mini Games hit 654 million, up 32.7% year-on-year, while Douyin Mini Games reached 85 million. In the first half of 2026, 917 domestic game licenses were approved, a 21.1% year-on-year increase. Among new mobile games launched in May 2026, "Roco Kingdom: World" led with 17.482 million monthly active users. Average monthly usage time per user increased by 6.9% year-on-year to 111.2 minutes. The top three by monthly active users are "Honor of Kings," "Happy Match," and "Delta Force."

The steady growth in mobile app MAUs, coupled with over 30% growth in WeChat Mini Games, reflects an expansion in light casual scenarios, structurally benefiting mini-game publishers and ad platforms. The continuous increase in license approvals provides a stable policy environment for new product supply, fostering positive expectations for manufacturers with rich product pipelines. The rise in user engagement indicates strengthening stickiness among core players, which benefits leading products with long-term operational capabilities in maintaining their revenue baselines.

The gaming sector is experiencing multiple catalysts including AI integration, content innovation, and business model transformations. The Huaxia Gaming ETF (159869) tracks the CSI Dynamic Gaming Index, boasting the highest AI application exposure across the market. It accurately covers the overall performance of China's A-share anime and gaming industry. Currently, the sector is riding a wave of multiple catalysts: favorable policies, product cycles, and AI empowerment, presenting a potential window for layout in the gaming track.
