# Overseas Markets | US Three Indices Continue Rebound, Alibaba Leads Five Consecutive Days of Gains for Chinese Concept Stocks

The three major US stock indices continued their rebound on Friday, with the Dow Jones rising 0.53%, the S&P 500 rising 0.70%, and the Nasdaq rising 1.00%. The market digested signals of the Federal Reserve holding rates steady, while tech heavyweights stabilized.

The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index rose 1.47%, recording five consecutive days of gains. Alibaba led the rally with a 5.10% increase, followed by NetEase up 1.04% and Bilibili up 2.14%; Tencent Music declined slightly by 0.32%.

London spot gold closed down 1.50% at $4,041.18, pressured by rising real interest rates and a stronger US dollar. Geopolitical tensions eased over the weekend, causing international oil prices to plunge more than 7%, cooling safe-haven buying demand.

Huaxi Securities pointed out that while gold is short-term suppressed by real interest rates and experiencing increased volatility, it still has support from central bank gold purchases and safe-haven allocation in the medium term.
