On the morning session of August 7, innovative drugs and CXO concepts remained active, driving significant gains in the Huaxia Science and Technology Innovation Board Medicine ETF (513180) and the Huaxia Stock Connect Healthcare ETF (520510). Medicilon, Haoyuan Chemexpress, and Vazyme led gains in the Science and Technology Innovation Board medicine sector, while Pharmaron and WuXi XDC led gains in the Hong Kong Stock Connect healthcare sector.

Open Securities stated that since 2025, with the Federal Reserve initiating an interest rate cut cycle, the recovery of overseas biopharmaceutical investment and financing, a substantial increase in domestic innovative drug financing, and full-chain policy support for the development of innovative drugs, the CXO industry has entered a new upward cycle.

Leading CXO enterprises represented by WuXi AppTec, Pharmaron, and Asymchem have seen their full-year 2025 performance improve quarter by quarter, with a comprehensive recovery in orders. This trend continued into H1 2026, as the industry moves from "confirmed recovery" to "accelerated growth."
