# US Stock Options | Amazon and Citigroup trading nearly doubled! The hottest contract overnight is not Tesla?

Overnight, following the Federal Reserve's New Year's resolution, technology stocks rebounded collectively, and Chinese concept stocks rose.

### Overview of US Stock Options Trading

The top ten US stock options trading on that day: Tesla, Amazon, Nvidia, Apple, AMD, Citigroup, Microsoft, AT&T, Bank of America, Meta.

Among them:

Tesla rose nearly 1%, with options trading falling to 1.92 million contracts, and call options accounting for 53.5%. Put options with a strike price of $185 and call options with a strike price of $190, both expiring on February 2nd, traded over 190,000 contracts and 170,000 contracts respectively. Call options with a strike price of $187.5 also traded over 120,000 contracts.

Amazon rose over 2%, with options trading nearly doubling to 1.11 million contracts, and call options accounting for 63.5%. Call options with a strike price of $165 traded over 50,000 contracts.

Nvidia rose over 2%, with options trading rebounding to 1.02 million contracts, and call options accounting for 58%. Call options with a strike price of $630 traded over 50,000 contracts.

Apple rose over 1%, with options trading rising to 950,000 contracts, and call options accounting for 51%. Call options with a strike price of $190 traded 50,000 contracts.

AMD rose nearly 2%, with options trading falling to 820,000 contracts, and call options accounting for 59%. Call options with a strike price of $170 traded 100,000 contracts.

Citigroup slightly declined, with options trading doubling to 660,000 contracts, and call options accounting for 84%. Call options with strike prices of $54 and $52.5 both traded over 60,000 contracts.

Microsoft rose over 1%, with options trading falling to 560,000 contracts, and call options accounting for 64%.

AT&T rose 2%, with options trading skyrocketing to 510,000 contracts, and call options accounting for 94%. Call options expiring on March 15th with a strike price of $19 traded 320,000 contracts, becoming the hottest contract overnight!

Bank of America fell over 1%, with options trading rising to 500,000 contracts, and put options accounting for 58%.

Meta rose over 1%, with options trading rising to nearly 460,000 contracts, and call options accounting for 53%.
