# Goldman Sachs: China's e-commerce sales are expected to grow by 8% to $1.7 trillion in 2024

Recently, the global stock strategy team at Goldman Sachs Research released a research report stating that global e-commerce sales are expected to achieve a 7% compound annual growth rate from 2023 to 2028, with the online retail penetration rate expected to continue to rise. In particular, e-commerce sales in China are projected to grow by 8% to $1.7 trillion in 2024
