# Taiwan's weighted stock index rose by 1.1%, led by Taiwan Semiconductor

The Taiwan Stock Exchange Weighted Index rose by 1.1% to 22,404.34 points, with the stock market rising for the second consecutive day. Taiwan Semiconductor contributed the most to the index's rise, increasing by 0.8%. Asrock Technology Co., Ltd. saw the largest increase, rising by 10.0%
