# U.S. Stock Market News | NVIDIA falls more than 5.4%, Morgan Stanley says this round of semiconductor cycle is about to peak

According to the financial news app Zhitong Finance, on Tuesday, most of the semiconductor sector experienced a decline. As of the time of publication, NVIDIA (NVDA.US) fell by over 5.4%, AMD (AMD.US) fell by over 3.7%, Micron Tech (MU.US) fell by nearly 5%, Intel (INTC.US) fell by 4.8%. Shawn Kim, a stock analyst at Morgan Stanley, and his team released a report stating that the semiconductor industry has entered the late stage of the cycle and is about to peak.

Super Micro Computer (SMCI.US) bucked the trend and rose by nearly 5%. Super Micro Computer's CEO, Charles Liang, stated in a letter to customers, "I still have full confidence in the company's financial condition and internal team."
