# Amazon AWS plans to invest $1.8 billion in Brazil over the next ten years to expand its data center business

Amazon's cloud computing division Amazon Web Services said on Wednesday that by 2034, the company will invest 10.1 billion Brazilian reais in Brazil to expand its data center business in the country. The company stated that the funds will be used for expanding, constructing, connecting, operating, and maintaining data centers in Brazil
