# The Apple iPhone 16 Pro is not a square shape: the top and bottom black borders are 0.03mm narrower than the left and right borders

With the release of the iPhone 16 series phones, Apple has updated the device accessory design guidelines.

According to the data provided by Apple, the iPhone 16 Pro phone has a left and right black border of 1.44mm, and a top and bottom black border of 1.41mm.

For reference, the values for the other three iPhone 16 series phones are the same, as summarized by IT Home:

iPhone 16: Top and bottom 2.275mm, left and right 2.275mm

iPhone 16 Plus: Top and bottom 2.275mm, left and right 2.275mm

iPhone 16 Pro Max: Top and bottom 1.36mm, left and right 1.36mm
