# Rivian collaborates with Amazon to deploy electric delivery vans equipped with a visual assistance package pickup system

Amazon announced that it will deploy 1,000 electric delivery vans manufactured by electric vehicle maker at the beginning of 2025, equipped with a visual-assisted package pickup system. It is expected that this system will help speed up delivery times. Amazon is the largest shareholder of Rivian and ordered 100,000 electric delivery vans in 2019. In July, Amazon stated that it had introduced over 15,000 electric delivery vans across the United States
