# Tesla's unmanned taxi exposed, Musk: Requesting regulatory agencies in China and other countries to approve FSD Supervised Edition

On the eve of the Tesla new product launch event scheduled for October 11th Beijing time, the official released a video demonstrating Musk's vision of the use of self-driving rental cars. The video shows that users can simply summon a nearby unmanned Tesla car by opening their phone, adjust the car's air conditioning temperature before getting in, and visually track the progress of their ride. Prior to this event, Musk answered a series of questions related to self-driving rental cars. He pointed out that the localization solutions requiring high-precision maps that others have are very fragile, so their ability to expand staff is limited. Tesla's solution is a universal one that is applicable anywhere, even on another planet. If you are on a brand new planet, it can also work on the new planet. He mentioned that the deployment of self-driving capabilities in places other than North America is far behind. Therefore, in the FSD V12.5 or possibly V12.6 version, Tesla will request regulatory approval for Tesla's FSD supervision version in Europe, China, and other countries. He believes that Tesla may obtain approval by the end of this year
