# Hong Kong media: Taobao to open the first large-scale furniture experience store in Hong Kong

According to the Hong Kong Economic Daily News, Alibaba's e-commerce platform Taobao has rented a 40,000 square feet store in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, with a monthly rent of approximately HKD 500,000. The store is expected to open by the end of this year and will be the first large-scale furniture experiential showroom in Hong Kong
