# Hong Kong Stock Market Midday Review: Hong Kong stocks fluctuated and rose in the morning session, with the photovoltaic and lithium battery concepts soaring

Jinshi Data News on October 25th, the Hang Seng Index opened high and continued to rise in the morning session, with all three major Hong Kong stock indexes showing a volatile upward trend in the morning session. The Hang Seng Tech Index rose by more than 2% at one point in the morning session. As of the close, the Hang Seng Index and the Hang Seng Tech Index rose by 1.13% and 1.85% respectively. On the market, large-cap technology stocks generally rose, with Xiaomi Group (01810.HK) up nearly 3%, Alibaba (09988.HK) up 2%, Kuaishou (01024.HK), JD.com (09618.HK) up more than 1%; photovoltaic stocks surged significantly, with COMTEC SOLAR (00712.HK) leading the way with a large volume increase of over 100%, while FLAT GLASS (06865.HK), XINYI SOLAR (00968.HK) and other stocks rose by more than 20%
