# Volkswagen CEO: Union's cost-cutting suggestions are insufficient

德國大眾汽車 (Volkswagen，港稱福士) 行政總裁 (CEO) 奧博穆 (Oliver Blume) 向員工表示，目前工會提出的削減成本建議是談判的起點，但遠遠不足以解決大眾汽車疲軟的競爭力問題。

他對參加在禾夫斯堡 (Wolfsburg) 集會的數千名工人說，管理層是在快速變化的環境中做決定，對公司的未來感到擔憂。

大眾汽車的工人周一參加全國範圍的罷工，以在談判中向奧博穆及其董事會成員施壓。此前，管理層拒絕了工會提出的削減獎金和讓員工放棄加薪的成本節約方案。德國工會 IG Metall 估計約有 10 萬名工人罷工，並表示約有 2 萬人參加了周三的集會。

大眾汽車勞工領袖卡瓦諾 (Daniela Cavallo) 表示，為了在聖誕節前完成談判，工人需要做出妥協，這將意味妥協和讓步。
