# Powell emphasizes that interest rate cuts will slow down, indicates Bitcoin reserve stance, and hints at the biggest geopolitical risks

At this interest rate meeting, Powell lowered the interest rate by 25 basis points to 4.25-4.5%, in line with market expectations.

The released dot plot shows that the interest rate level at the end of 2025 is at 3.9%, in other words, the expectation for rate cuts in the coming year has decreased from four times to about two times.

Correspondingly, the Federal Reserve has raised its inflation expectations for next year.
