# LG Electronics collaborates with Microsoft to develop AI home features

Zhitong Finance has learned that LG Electronics will collaborate with American software manufacturer Microsoft (MSFT.US) to incorporate the company's artificial intelligence technology into its consumer electronics products. LG Electronics CEO William Cho stated at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held this week in Las Vegas, USA, that the two companies will work together on AI agents in various spaces such as homes, vehicles, hotels, and offices.

LG Electronics has been using Microsoft's voice recognition and speech synthesis technology to power its automated AI home hub and has expressed plans to develop AI agents that go beyond understanding and interaction by predicting customer needs and preferences. Additionally, Microsoft will collaborate with LG Electronics in the field of AI data centers. Microsoft's Chief Commercial Officer Judson Althoff stated, "We will leverage LG Electronics' thermal management systems and advanced cooling technologies to create next-generation data facilities."
