对冲基金收费高一直为人诟病。一项新研究披露了对冲基金的客户真正的成本有多大。根据对冲基金基金 LCH Investments 估计，自 1969 年以来，该行业赚取的 3.7 万亿美元利润中，对冲基金将其中近一半作为费用。随着资产的飙升，对冲基金的费用已经升至获利的 50.4%，2000 年代初这个比例约为 30%。华伦‧巴菲特曾经形容这些费用为 “令人难以置信的补偿计划”，品浩共同创办人比尔·格罗斯称之为 “巨大的讹诈”。研究机构 HFR 指出，该行业在本世纪增长了六倍，管理创纪录的 4.5 万亿美元。“2008 年的金融危机提供对冲基金一个机会，可以重置向投资者收费的方式，” LCH 董事长 Rick Sopher 表示。D.E.
