The top destinations for Hong Kong travelers are Japan, Mainland China, Thailand, Taiwan, and South Korea, with travelers' average outbound budget showing double-digit growth year-on-year. ## Japan, China, and Thailand Become Top Outbound Destinations Ye Chuo Ming noted that during this Lunar New Year period, the number of bookings for Premium Economy seats by Hong Kong residents increased by 1.3 times year-on-year, with over half being short-haul trips. Additionally, train ticket bookings increased by 40% year-on-year, with the top five Greater Bay Area destinations being Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Zhongshan, and Foshan. ## Thailand Travel Bookings Not Affected Recently, concerns have been raised regarding travel safety in Thailand.
