# Honor of Kings sets a new record for the second highest monthly revenue in gaming history

In January 2025, "Honor of Kings" rose six places to once again become the highest-grossing mobile game in the world. According to Sensor Tower's app insights, Tencent's "Honor of Kings" topped the global mobile game revenue chart in January 2025, mainly driven by the release of highly popular skins, IP collaborations, and Spring Festival activities. The limited edition skins for the Year of the Snake, holiday events, exclusive discounts, lotteries, and in-game rewards boosted player spending, resulting in nearly double the revenue compared to the previous month, setting a record for the second highest monthly revenue in the game's history
