# Despite the discounted placement, XTALPI surged 15%

XTALPI today opened lower and then rose sharply, falling 2% at the low and currently surging over 15%.

XTALPI announced that it plans to place up to 342 million shares, accounting for approximately 8.52% of the expanded issued share capital. The placement price per share is HKD 6.10, representing a discount of about 5.86% compared to the closing price on the previous trading day. The estimated fundraising is approximately HKD 2.08 billion.

Recently, AI healthcare stocks have continued to strengthen. In addition to the significant rise in XTALPI today, PA GOODDOCTOR, MicroPort Medbot, and others have also seen substantial gains.
