# Global news you need to know before the U.S. stock market opens on Friday

U.S. real consumer spending declined for the first time in a year, and the PCE price index rose moderately.  
Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland President Hammack: The balance sheet will be steadily reduced, unwilling to support interest rate hikes.  
Tokyo's inflation slows down, and expectations for interest rate hikes in Japan cool.  
India's GDP grew by 6.2% year-on-year in the fourth quarter, but external risks are intensifying.  
The cryptocurrency crash worsens, with Bitcoin down 25% from its historical high.  
Germany's Central Cooperative Bank upgraded NVIDIA's rating to Buy, with a target price of $156.  
Dell Technologies fell over 7% in pre-market trading, with mixed earnings reports revealing several large AI server orders.  
Baidu will release the Wenxin large model 4.5 on March 16.
