According to Jinshi Data on March 12, the Hang Seng Index opened nearly 100 points higher this morning and once rose nearly 200 points, reaching a high of 23962.03 points. However, the upward momentum could not be sustained, and it fluctuated downwards, turning negative. By midday, the decline had widened, and the Hang Seng Tech Index opened high but fell back, dropping over 1% before noon. As of the midday close, the Hang Seng Index fell 0.67% to 23623.55 points, while the Tech Index fell 1.03% to 5905.48 points, with a total market turnover of HKD 136.238 billion.
