# SINOPHARM recommends appointing Chen Yuqing as a non-executive director

According to the announcement from SINOPHARM (01099), Li Dongjiu has reached retirement age and has submitted his resignation as a non-executive director, a member of the board audit committee, and a member of the board strategy and investment committee to the board of directors on May 16, 2025, with immediate effect.

On the same day, the board resolved to recommend the appointment of Chen Yuqing as a non-executive director
