# Goldman Sachs: The commercialization of autonomous taxi services is advancing, and the fleet size is expected to expand

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Goldman Sachs released a research report expressing a positive attitude towards the expansion of commercial services for autonomous taxi operations. In Shanghai, licensed autonomous taxi operators can provide fully driverless taxi services to the public in designated areas and charge fees. This will support the development of the autonomous taxi industry, while continuous technological advancements, the reduction of bill of materials (BOM) costs due to large-scale deployment, and the expansion of the ecosystem among autonomous taxi operators, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and asset owners will also play a driving role.
