# PRINX CHENGSHAN: Thailand tire production base temporarily halts production

According to the announcement from Zhitong Finance APP, PRINX CHENGSHAN (01809) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, PRINX CHENGSHAN Tire (Thailand) Co., Ltd., recently received a temporary suspension notice from the Thailand Industrial Estate Authority regarding its tire production base in Thailand. The main reasons are the handling of carbon black packaging bags suspected of violating Thailand's industrial waste disposal regulations and the waste discharge from the expanded production line pending acceptance. As a result, Prinx Thailand has temporarily halted production at its tire production base to adopt rectification measures and resolve the issue. Prinx Thailand has appointed a lawyer to handle the matter. Meanwhile, Prinx Thailand is actively negotiating with IEAT to clarify and resolve the issue as soon as possible and expects to have a clearer understanding of the suspension period within one to two weeks
