# Li Yanhong discusses the development of AI large models: Approaching the critical point of application explosion

On the evening of September 8th, Sina Technology learned that at the Baidu Autumn Carnival and the Highest Award Ceremony held today, Baidu founder, chairman, and CEO Robin Li appeared at the Baidu Technology Park to issue a bonus check of $1 million to each winning team. At the award ceremony, Robin Li pointed out when discussing AI development, "The development of AI large models has actually reached a critical point today, and soon there will be various very valuable applications that can be created. We are living in a very exciting and highly anticipated market environment." Robin Li noted that Baidu has emphasized for the past two years that all of Baidu's products must use AI. Today, 65% of Baidu's search results contain generative content, and this content is usually ranked at the top. In addition, Baidu Baikan is also multimedia, and typically, regardless of what users search for, the results that come out first are usually an image gallery or video, or even in a live broadcast format
