一只跑赢了 97% 的竞争对手的逆向基金一直在买入医疗股，押注今年这个表现落后的板块将 “咸鱼翻身”。MFS Meridian Funds - 逆向价值基金在夏初买入了赛默飞世尔科技和碧迪医疗，认为它们的估值过低。截至 8 月，医疗保健股占到该 27 亿欧元基金仓位的 12%，高于年初的 6.9%。“无论是医疗技术仪器还是大型制药公司，它们都遇到了周期性和监管方面的问题，” 基金经理 Anne Christine Farstad 表示。“对这些股票来说，这是一个各种不顺的独特时期。”
