# On September 29th, the "Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" decreased by 0.05 points compared to yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on September 29, the "Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products" was 118.80, a decrease of 0.05 points from yesterday. The wholesale price index for "basket" products was 119.69, a decrease of 0.06 points from yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in national agricultural wholesale markets was 19.32 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.8% from yesterday; beef was 65.94 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.8% from yesterday; lamb was 61.68 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.2% from yesterday; eggs were 8.45 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.6% from yesterday; and broiler chicken was 17.24 yuan/kg, a decrease of 2.5% from yesterday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.01 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.4% from yesterday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 7.08 yuan/kg, an increase of 1.6% from yesterday. The price of crucian carp was 20.70 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday; carp was 14.35 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.7% from yesterday; white catfish was 9.67 yuan/kg, a decrease of 2.3% from yesterday; and large hairtail was 41.20 yuan/kg, an increase of 1.5% from yesterday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products monitored in domestic wholesale markets, the top five price increases compared to yesterday were eggplant, pumpkin, banana, cucumber, and Kyoho grapes, with increases of 3.9%, 2.5%, 2.2%, 2.1%, and 2.0%, respectively; the top five price decreases were pleurotus eryngii, spinach, cauliflower, broiler chicken, and white catfish, with decreases of 3.5%, 2.6%, 2.6%, 2.5%, and 2.3%, respectively
