# Hong Kong stocks opened lower, the new energy sector was sluggish, XPeng fell over 4%, and Zijin Mining rose over 1%

The Hang Seng Tech Index opened down 1.12%. Hua Hong Semiconductor rose 0.57%. SMIC's Hong Kong stock opened slightly lower.

New energy vehicle stocks were sluggish, with Li Auto down nearly 3%, leading the blue chips, and XPeng down over 4%. Zijin Mining rose over 1%
