《博德之门 3》工作室 Larian Studios 的发行总监 Michael Douse 公开表示，马斯克所承诺的 AI 生成视频游戏不靠谱。马斯克最近成立了 XAI 人工智能游戏工作室，并声称由其 AI 助手 Grok 驱动的团队将在 2026 年底前发布一款 “杰出” 的 AI 生成游戏。Douse 在看到马斯克的计划后发推回应，指出尽管人工智能可以作为游戏开发的工具，但它无法替代创造优秀游戏所必需的创意与远见。
