# Global news you need to know before the U.S. stock market opens on Wednesday

Spot gold has historically broken through the $4,000 mark, with an increase of over 50% this year.  
The 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry has been announced: three scientists have been awarded for their contributions to the development of metal-organic frameworks.  
The euro against the dollar has shown little short-term volatility, with reports indicating that the EU believes the new trade demands from the U.S. may undermine the previous agreements made with Trump.  
European Central Bank Governing Council member Muller believes the economy is gradually recovering and is satisfied with inflation.  
According to Reuters, the EU has allocated €1 billion to strengthen AI applications in key industries.  
Vietnam's stock index has reached a historic high after being "upgraded" to the FTSE Russell Emerging Markets Index.  
Valued at $5.375 billion! SoftBank has made a cash acquisition of ABB's robotics business, a "giant in industrial robotics."  
With support from the capital markets! The scale of Bitcoin held by MSTR is nearing the cash on the books of Amazon, Google, and Microsoft.  
U.S. stock pre-market: European stock markets have reached record highs, BMW's European stock has fallen nearly 8%, U.S. stock index futures are slightly up, spot silver has risen over 2%, and crude oil is up 1.5%.
