# Hong Kong Stock Market Mid-Review: Hang Seng Index rises 1.21%, Hang Seng Tech Index rises 1.18%

According to Jinshi Data on October 15, as of the noon close, the Hang Seng Index rose by 1.21%, and the Hang Seng Tech Index rose by 1.18%. On the market, building materials and cement stocks, Alibaba concept stocks, online education stocks, insurance stocks, and new consumption concept stocks led the gains, while rare earth concept stocks, film and television stocks, semiconductor stocks, battery stocks, and wind power stocks led the declines. Xuan Zhu Biological-B (02575.HK) rose 128% on its first day of listing, GAC Group (02238.HK) rose nearly 7%, Chow Tai Fook (01929.HK) and Geely Auto (00175.HK) rose over 4%, Alibaba Health (00241.HK) and Bilibili (09626.HK) rose over 3%; Ganfeng Lithium (01772.HK) and Shandong Gold (017817.HK) fell over 6%
