# SHM: The application for the listing of acetic acid leuprolide chemical raw materials has been approved

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Sichuan Shuangma (000935.SZ) announced that its controlling subsidiary Hubei Jianxiang Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Hubei Jianxiang") recently received the "Approval Notice for the Market Application of Acetate Leuprolide" issued by the National Medical Products Administration.

The announcement shows that Acetate Leuprolide is a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist, which can effectively inhibit the secretion of gonadotropins when administered continuously at therapeutic doses. It is currently approved in China for the treatment of endometriosis, uterine fibroids, prostate cancer, estrogen receptor-positive premenopausal breast cancer, and central precocious puberty
