# Oracle AI World releases a major update to enhance OCI full-stack AI capabilities

PingWest reported on October 17 that Oracle disclosed significant upgrades to its OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) series during the AI World Conference, enhancing AI service capabilities across the board from computing clusters and databases to ecosystem partnerships, accelerating the implementation of enterprise-level AI.

On the hardware front, Oracle launched the OCI Zettascale10 supercomputer with a peak performance of 16 ZettaFLOPS, a tenfold improvement over the first generation. It supports the deployment of 800,000 NVIDIA GPUs based on a self-developed network architecture and will be used to build the "Stargate" flagship cluster in collaboration with OpenAI.

On the software side, Oracle released Oracle AI Database 26ai, which integrates AI architecture at the core of the database for the first time, adding features such as autonomous AI data lakes and hybrid vector search, supporting operations across multi-cloud environments, and incorporating quantum-resistant encryption to ensure data security.

Ecosystem partnerships have also been upgraded, introducing models like Google Gemini and Cohere, and launching a secure decision-making solution in collaboration with Palantir, empowering clients in fields such as healthcare and gaming. Currently, over 20 AI service providers have achieved performance improvements and cost optimization based on OCI infrastructure.
