# U.S. stock market close: All three major indices rise, Golden Dragon Index up over 2%

According to Jin10 data on October 21, U.S. stocks closed higher on Monday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average initially rising by 1.1%, the S&P 500 index up by 1.07%, and the Nasdaq up by 1.37%. Citigroup rose by 4.6%, while Oracle (ORCL.N) fell nearly 5%. Apple (AAPL.O) rose by 4%, with a market value approaching $4 trillion. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index closed up by 2.4%, Alibaba (BABA.N) rose by 3.8%, and Nio (NIO.N) rose by 4.7%
