As international gold prices plummet, the price of the Shanghai Gold Exchange's gold Au99.99 contract also saw a sharp decline this morning, with intraday losses exceeding 5% at one point. As of the time of writing, the aforementioned contract hit a low of 932 yuan per gram during trading.
