# Ford recalls nearly 1.45 million vehicles in the U.S. due to rearview camera issues

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced on Wednesday that Ford will recall 1,448,655 vehicles in the United States due to issues with the rearview camera, which may cause images to be distorted, intermittent, or blank when the vehicle is in reverse.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration stated that this would reduce the driver's visibility of the area behind the vehicle, thereby increasing the risk of a crash
