On October 24th, Jinshi Data reported that Apple (AAPL.O) lost a class-action lawsuit in the UK, with the court ruling that it exploited its market dominance to charge excessive commissions to app developers. The Competition Appeal Tribunal ruled on Thursday that Apple failed to justify its actions and must pay compensation for the excessive commissions. The lawsuit alleged that millions of iPhone and iPad users were harmed by Apple's "excessive" commissions charged during purchases on its App Store. Apple denied these allegations.
