# US stock market seven giants closing report | Alphabet A rose 2.7%, Apple hit a record high, Amazon rose over 5.2% this week, Tesla fell 1.3%

On Friday (October 24), the Magnificent 7 index of U.S. tech stocks rose by 1.21%, closing at 204.06 points, surpassing the previous closing record high of 202.51 points set on October 9, with a cumulative increase of 2.62% for the week.

Google A and NVIDIA rose by as much as 2.70%, Amazon and Apple increased by up to 1.25%—Apple set a new closing record high at $262.83, Meta Platforms and Microsoft rose by up to 0.57%, while Tesla closed down 3.42%.

In addition, AMD rose by 7.63%, TSMC increased by 1.45%, Eli Lilly rose by 0.54%, and Berkshire Hathaway Class B shares under Warren Buffett rose by 0.40%.

This week, Amazon rebounded by 5.24%, Apple rose by 4.17%, Meta increased by 2.99%, Google A rose by 2.61%, Microsoft increased by 1.94%, NVIDIA rose by 1.63%, TSMC fell by 0.04%, and Tesla dropped by 1.30%—the performance report was released this week
