# The semiconductor ETF rose by 2.5%, leading the sector ETFs in the U.S. stock market, while the S&P telecommunications sector increased by 2.3%

On Monday (October 27), the semiconductor ETF rose by 2.51%, while the global technology stock index ETF, technology sector ETF, consumer discretionary ETF, internet stock index ETF, and biotechnology index ETF increased by 1.96% to 1.26%. The regional bank ETF, banking sector ETF, and global airline industry ETF saw declines of up to 0.23%.

Among the 11 sectors of the S&P 500 index, the telecommunications sector rose by 2.3%, the information technology/technology sector increased by 2.02%, and the consumer discretionary sector was up 1.53%, ranking third, while the materials and consumer staples sectors fell by up to 0.27%
