# On October 28th, the "Agricultural Products Wholesale Price 200 Index" rose by 0.50 points compared to yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on October 28, the "Agricultural Product Wholesale Price 200 Index" was 123.82, an increase of 0.50 points from yesterday. The wholesale price index for "basket" products was 125.59, an increase of 0.58 points from yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the average wholesale price of pork in national agricultural product markets was 18.03 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.4% from yesterday; beef was 66.61 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.1% from yesterday; lamb was 62.46 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.3% from yesterday; eggs were 7.39 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday; and broiler chickens were 17.70 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.7% from yesterday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.66 yuan/kg, an increase of 3.1% from yesterday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 7.06 yuan/kg, an increase of 1.3% from yesterday. The price of crucian carp was 19.50 yuan/kg, an increase of 2.8% from yesterday; carp was 13.69 yuan/kg, a decrease of 1.5% from yesterday; white catfish was 10.11 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.3% from yesterday; and large hairtail was 40.61 yuan/kg, an increase of 4.2% from yesterday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products monitored in domestic wholesale markets, the top five price increases compared to yesterday were for scallions, green beans, spinach, celery, and garlic sprouts, with increases of 6.7%, 6.0%, 5.7%, 5.4%, and 4.9%, respectively; the top five price decreases were for pineapples, carp, grass carp, duck pears, and garlic, with decreases of 2.6%, 1.5%, 0.9%, 0.9%, and 0.6%, respectively
