Regarding the first consumer company headquartered in the Middle East that has submitted an application to list in Hong Kong, he believes this is a preliminary achievement for the exchange, emphasizing that Hong Kong can provide value-added services for companies in the Middle East. He revealed that the amount raised from new listings in Hong Kong currently exceeds USD 27 billion, ranking first globally, with over USD 60 billion in post-listing refinancing. On this basis, if companies in the Middle East consider listing on other exchanges, Hong Kong can bring liquidity or growth and enhancement opportunities for these companies. Additionally, he mentioned that there is no crystal ball to predict the situation for new listings next year, but based on the current investor and market reactions to new listings or refinancing, the liquidity and future performance post-listing appear to be relatively healthy, and he hopes this situation can continue. The exchange will continue to promote and optimize the listing process, providing more flexibility for enterprises, and the listing processes and rules will align with the development of the capital market. HKEX will also study whether there is room for optimization in the dual-class share structure introduced seven years ago. He continued to say that since the launch of the technology-focused listing channel in May this year, the market response has been positive, allowing for confidential submissions to provide greater flexibility for enterprises. He also pointed out that there are currently about 300 companies applying for listings, with nearly half coming from the technology sector, followed by healthcare and biotechnology. Regarding HKEX's views on the listing of virtual asset companies, he emphasized that HKEX is a rules-based exchange, and the main principle for listing is that listed companies need to have substantive business operations. HKEX is currently conducting research on virtual currencies, with one direction being the application scenarios of virtual currencies, and from the exchange's perspective, how to optimize or promote market infrastructure ### 相关股票 - [Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX) (HKXCY.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/quote/HKXCY.US.md) - [HKEX (00388.HK)](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/quote/00388.HK.md) ## 相关资讯与研究 - [Malaysia, Hong Kong bourse operators to offer cross-border investment opportunities](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/280771866.md) - [How to interpret the wild swings in the jobs numbers](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/281681321.md) - [Orient Securities Keeps Their Buy Rating on Geely Automobile Holdings (GELYF)](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/281674321.md) - [The High-Bandwidth Memory (HBM) Bottleneck Can Still Cause Micron's Stock to Soar](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/281662827.md) - [Global Trust Asset Management LLC Sells 1,877 Shares of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Ltd. $TSM](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/281682711.md)
