The Hang Seng Index opened up 92 points or 0.4% at 25,999 points; the National Index opened up 30 points or 0.3% at 9,198 points; the Hang Seng TECH Index opened up 28 points or 0.5% at 5,936 points. In the chip sector, SMIC (00981.HK) and Hua Hong (01347.HK) opened down 1.1% and 0.9%, respectively, while chip equipment stock ASMPT (00522.HK) opened down 1.3%. In other tech stocks, Alibaba (09988.HK) and Kuaishou (01024.HK) opened down 0.1% and 0.5%, respectively, Tencent (00700.HK) opened up 0.2%, JD.com (09618.HK) and Meituan (03690.HK) opened up 0.6% and 0.9%, respectively, and Bilibili (09626.HK) opened up 2.3%.
