# A maximum support of 100 million yuan for Optics Valley to "call out" to top global 6G and semiconductor talents

For top talent teams in industries such as 6G and compound semiconductors, a maximum support of 100 million yuan is available! On November 4th, Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone held a press conference to announce the implementation measures for top talent, calling out to top talents in future industries globally. The policy support targets mainly three categories of top talent groups: strategic scientists represented by winners of major international scientific awards such as the Nobel Prize and Turing Award, focusing on basic research and frontier exploration; industry-leading talents represented by national-level talents and heads of R&D in well-known enterprises, focusing on breakthroughs in key core technologies and the industrialization of scientific achievements; and future technology leaders represented by academic experts from well-known universities and research institutions, focusing on forward-looking and disruptive technology directions. The new policy for top talents provides project funding in two tiers: 20 million to 50 million yuan and 50 million to 100 million yuan, with a maximum support of 100 million yuan for major urgent projects. Additionally, up to 20% of the start-up funds can be advanced in the year the project is established, marking a significant breakthrough in support implementation, placing it at a leading level nationwide
