# miHoYo released a statement on the violation of using third-party tools in Genshin Impact

DoNews reported on November 8th that miHoYo officially announced today on the miHoYo community that some players have long been using third-party violation tools such as mouse macros and automation scripts in the game "Genshin Impact," which seriously harms the fairness of the game.

In order to maintain a fair gaming environment, miHoYo has recently launched stricter security enforcement strategies and will impose penalties on violating accounts based on the severity of the violations, including but not limited to【account bans】and【recovery of illegally obtained game rewards】.

miHoYo calls on all players to jointly maintain a fair and friendly gaming environment. If any suspected violations are found, they can be reported through the in-game【report】function, and they will handle verified violations as soon as possible.

The reporting process is as follows:

Click on the "Multiplayer," "Friends," "Chat Box," and other interfaces in the game

Click on the corresponding account avatar

Select【report】to enter the feedback interface
