# CIIE: The Large Retail Buyers Alliance has reached 54 procurement intentions, and multiple districts have signed a series of benchmark projects in key industries

Yesterday morning, as a supporting on-site event of the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE), a centralized procurement signing ceremony of the Shanghai trading group large retail buyer alliance, hosted by Bailian Group, was held. Member companies of the Shanghai trading group large retail buyer alliance, including Bailian Group, Bright Food Group, and Greenland Global Commodity Trade Port, signed contracts with representatives from manufacturers and brand owners from the Americas, Europe, Oceania, and Asia, covering multiple fields such as food and home, beauty and personal care, and medical devices. Since the start of the 8th CIIE, according to incomplete statistics, member companies of the Shanghai trading group large retail buyer alliance have reached procurement intentions for 54 projects; among them, 25 projects were signed on-site. At the same time, the world's largest steel company also placed orders at the CIIE. Yesterday, China Baowu Steel Group Co., Ltd. completed a new round of procurement cooperation signing with 13 global suppliers at the 8th CIIE. In this centralized procurement, Baowu signed contracts with globally renowned companies such as Primetals Technologies, Fives DMS, GFM, Siemens, Yinda Group, JOG, Voith Group, JFE, Eurasia Resources, Mongolian Energy, UAE Samancor Chrome, Indonesian Nickel Mining Company, and France Eramet Group, with procurement covering intelligent low-carbon metallurgical equipment, high-quality raw materials such as iron ore, chrome ore, manganese ore, ferro-niobium, ferro-nickel, coal, and other metal materials
