# The U.S. government shutdown is expected to end, with U.S. stock futures, cryptocurrencies, and gold and silver all rising

Nasdaq stock index futures rose by 0.8%, and S&P 500 stock index futures increased by over 0.5%. Bitcoin rose to around $106,400, while Ethereum climbed above $3,600. Spot gold increased by 0.64%, reported at $4,027. Spot silver rose by 1%.
