# Hesai Technology will establish its first overseas production base in Thailand, expected to be operational by the end of next year at the earliest

According to a report by Bloomberg, Hesai Technology (02525.HK) CEO Li Yifan stated that the company will establish its first overseas production base in Thailand, expected to be operational by the end of next year or early 2027.

Li Yifan mentioned that the company has already achieved its annual profit target ahead of schedule in the third quarter. Additionally, although the price war in China's automotive industry continues, putting pressure on the average selling price of components such as lidar, new demand will also arise from artificial intelligence applications like autonomous taxis and robots
